Craig A. Kirkland aka Amaziyah The Great, is also a multi-talented Jamaican entertainer, traveled to the UK, Canada, and USA, performed on many poetry events, he has a number of songs and spoken word tracks released on his Great Amazement Multimedia Entertainment independent label, available on all major digital platforms, a true artist, self-published author for the book Don’t Cry available on Amazon, he also have a passion for graphic designing and video editing.
A multi-award winning filmmaker who had received numerous film festival awards in Jamaica which includes, Northern Caribbean University Lignum Vitae Film Fest, (Best Director and Best Script 2013), Jamaica Reggae Film Festival (Audience Award 2011 and Honour Award 2010) and also a recipient of P.E.A.B.O. in Ontario
A proud father of 2 beautiful children, and a fun person to be around, Kirkland resides in Smithfield, Rhode Island where he has been performing and many spoken word events, other places includes Massachusetts and New York among other places in the US. He has a few Jamaican movies which can be found on YouTube, ‘Searching For Keisha,’ ‘Easter Bun,’ ‘Camariah’s Way,’ ‘Stay Firm’ and ‘My Name Is Pam,’ Amaziyah The Great says his plans are to take his craft to the world as wide as possible.
