My name is Rezsőné Németh (69) and I go by the creative name Julianna. I grew up with my three siblings in Hajdúszoboszló, a quiet town in the Great Hungarian Plains. After high school, I studied chemical engineering and worked as an engineer throughout my professional career.
I only started painting with 63. It’s a huge source of joy and strength for me. Everything that touches my soul has to be put on canvas.
I go to artistic courses, then paint, then I study some more and paint again…
I want my works put a smile not only on my face but on everyone else’s who looks at them.

Németh Rezsőné (69) vagyok, művésznevem Julianna. Három testvéremmel együtt nevelkedtem fel Hajdúszoboszlón, egy csendes alföldi kisvárosban. A középiskola után vegyészmérnöki tanulmányokat folytattam, és szakmai pályafutásom során mérnökként dolgoztam. Csak 63 évesen kezdtem el festeni. Ez számomra végtelen öröm és erő forrása. Ha valami megérinti a lelkemet, azt vásznon kell kifejeznem. Művészeti tanfolyamokra járok, aztán festek, tanulok még, és újra festek. Azt szeretném, hogy a munkáim ne csak az én arcomra csaljanak mosolyt, hanem mindenki máséra is, aki rájuk néz.
