Creative Art’s: Magdi Komondi (Hungary)

After my fiftieth birthday I started my artistic journey in a self-taught way. I am an active member of several national and international art groups and communities. Over the years I have exhibited my paintings and other works in 22 solo exhibitions. I have participated in nearly 330 collective exhibitions – mainly in my home country, but also in other countries: 2008, 2009, 2010 Slovakia, 2010 India, 2011 USA, 2012 Bali, 2015 The Netherlands; 2017, 2018, 2021 Austria; 2018 Germany; 2018 Romania; 2019 Bulgaria; 2022 Turkey. He participated in more than 40 art seminars in Hungary, Slovakia; India; USA, Bali, Austria.
My artistic style and philosophy is close to the impressionist worldview: my wax-based non-figurative paintings are inspired by the vibrant colours of the chosen material. My other favourite and frequently used techniques are collage, montage and mixed media.
Since 2005 I have been working with blind and partially sighted people’s organisations to help them experience art. I have organised several exhibitions where visitors can touch with their fingers artworks made of paintings, ceramics, textiles or combinations of different materials.Many of my paintings and woven textiles are in private collections in Hungary, Sweden, the USA,the Netherlands, India and Bali.The Arab Blind Association also has some of my artworks. In 2022, I participated in several international virtual exhibitions. For example, several times: organized by Hungary, Peru, Morocco, Pakistan, Kurdistan, Brazil, Argentina, India.
I love nature and people. Everything that pleases the senses, the Eye and the Heart!I am always willing to learn new creative methods to expand my creative horizons. My main artistic goal is to leave a lasting artistic impression on the visitors of my exhibitions.

Ötven éves koromban, autodidakta módon kezdtem művészi utamat. Számos hazai és nemzetközi művészeti csoport és közösség aktív tagja lettem. Az évek során 22 önálló kiállításon állítottam ki festményeimet és egyéb munkáimat. Közel 330 kollektív kiállításon vettem részt – főleg hazámban, de más országokban is: 2008, 2009, 2010 Szlovákia, 2010 India, 2011 USA, 2012 Bali, 2015 Hollandia; 2017, 2018, 2021 Ausztria; 2018 Németország; 2018 Románia; 2019 Bulgária; 2022 Törökország, India.
Több, mint 40 alkotótáborban, művésztelepen vettem részt Magyarországon; továbbá Szlovákiában; Indiában; USA-ban, Balin, Ausztriában.

Az impresszionizmus áll hozzám legközelebb. A viaszalapú nonfiguratív festményeimet a választott anyag élénk színei ihlették. A másik kedvenc és gyakran használt technikám a kollázs, a montázs és a vegyes technika.

2005 óta dolgozom a vakok és gyengénlátók egyesületeivel, hogy segítsem őket a művészet megtapasztalásában. Több tapintható kiállítást rendeztem részükre, ahol a látogatók ujjaikkal érinthetik meg a festményekből, kerámiákból, textilből, vagy a különböző anyagok kombinációiból készült alkotásokat.
Több festményem és szőttesem magángyűjteményekben található Magyarországon, Svédországban, az USA-ban, Hollandiában, Indiában és Balin. Az Arab Országi Vakok Egyesületéhez is került alkotásom.
2022-ben több nemzetközi virtuális kiállításon vettem részt. Például: többször Magyarország, Peru, Marokkó, Pakisztán, Kurdisztán, Brazília, Argentína, India szervezésében.

Szeretem a természetet és az embereket. Mindent, ami szép a szemnek és a szívnek! Mindig készen állok új kreatív módszerek elsajátítására, hogy bővítsem látókörömet. Célom, hogy maradandó benyomást hagyjak kiállításaim látogatóiban.
