Creative Poet & Artist Elizabeth Esguerra Castillo, in collaboration with Shahid Abbas a poet from Pakistan with translation by Kapardeli Eftichia of Greece. They wrote this amid the unrest between Ukraine and Russia depicting friendship that must exist among nations.
The world today suffers greatly,
With wars looming amid the pandemic
Let unity be our slogan
Spread love among nations.
Beneath the turmoils around
We need to hold hands
Stand together on common ground,
Let love flow from the heavens.
Let there be no barriers,
No discrimination of any kind
Be our brothers’ keepers
Let harmony be in mind.
Friendship among nations is what we crave for,
Standing together for peace
Set aside our differences,
Let the Guiding Light reign.
We are humans, it’s our soil,
Love, peace, and brotherhood should be our goals.
There are many nations
Different colour, creed, and sect
We will not divide on their notion,
The reality we should accept.
We are all guests,
Let’s make this world a heaven
Live together harmoniously,
It’s the truthful way and the best.
Let’s decorate it
With faithfulness and loyalty,
No war, no killings, no rape
Let’s bring forth peace and humbly sit.

«Φιλία μεταξύ των εθνών»
Ο κόσμος σήμερα υποφέρει πολύ,
Με τους πολέμους να πλησιάζουν εν μέσω της πανδημίας Ας είναι η ενότητα το σύνθημά μας Διαδώστε την αγάπη μεταξύ των εθνών. Κάτω από αυτές τις αναταράξεις γύρω μας Χρειάζεται να κρατιόμαστε χέρι χέρι Να σταθούμε μαζί σε κοινό έδαφος, Αφήστε την αγάπη να κυλήσει από τους ουρανούς.
Ας μην υπάρχουν εμπόδια,
Χωρίς κανενός είδους διακρίσεις
Να γίνουμε φύλακες των αδελφών μας
Ας αφήσουμε την αρμονία να είναι στο μυαλό.
Η φιλία μεταξύ των εθνών είναι αυτό που επιθυμούμε, Μαζί για την ειρήνη
Ας βάλουμε στην άκρη τις διαφορές μας, Αφήστε το Φως που καθοδηγεί να βασιλέψει
Είμαστε άνθρωποι, είναι η γη μας,
Η αγάπη, η ειρήνη και η αδελφοσύνη πρέπει να είναι οι στόχοι μας.
Υπάρχουν πολλά έθνη
με διαφορετικό χρώμα, θρήσκευμα και Αίρεση Δεν θα χωρίσουμε ως προς την γνώμη τους
πρέπει να αποδεχτούμε την πραγματικότητα
Είμαστε όλοι επισκέπτες,
Ας κάνουμε αυτόν τον κόσμο παράδεισο Ας ζήσουμε μαζί αρμονικά,
Είναι ο αληθινός τρόπος και ο καλύτερος.
Ας τον στολίσουμε
Με πίστη και αφοσίωση,
Ούτε πόλεμος, ούτε δολοφονίες, ούτε βιασμοί Ας φέρουμε πρώτη την Ειρήνη και ας μείνουμε ταπεινοί.
