I love writing a lot. I started writing when I was in primary school. I have a handwritten manuscript of a novel that will be published soon.
I have written over 200 poems and recorded them as audios too. I have engaged in different contests where I’ve been awarded several certificates.

WHAT TYPE OF POET DO YOU CONSIDER YOURSELF TO BE?
I consider myself an open minded poet, I do diverse range of poetry that is, rhymed poetry, epics, narratives, lyric, ballads, soliloquy (monologue).
WHEN DID YOU KNOW YOU WANTED TO BE A POET?
I started as a novel writer, (I have a handwritten manuscript) but I wanted to express myself even better, and poetry was that platform.
WHEN DID YOU START WRITING POETRY?
I started writing poetry when I was 13–yrs old.
WHAT INSPIRES YOU TO WRITE?
My life is my greatest motivation, what I’ve been through, my dreams, my ambitions, my failures and my imagination. People’s lives also gives me inspirations.
WHAT MESSAGES ARE YOU SENDING TO YOUR READERS & LISTENERS?
I’ve always wanted people to realize how strong they can be. Life will always be full of hardships but these hardships can be a story of adventure, mystery to be solved and a thrilling journey.
WHAT DO YOU THINK ARE SOME OF HUMANITY’S VITAL ISSUES & DO YOU HAVE ANY SOLUTIONS?
Mental wellness is one of the greatest issues I always advocate for. Having gotten out of a major depression I do my best to put the message out there that we need to fight for mental health.
Solutions: Advocate for mental wellness, lets try to help those affected without victimizing them.

WHAT DO YOU THINK NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED, IN ORDER TO PROMOTE & SUPPORT CHANGE IN KENYA?
Education system, employment opportunities and good politics are the changes we need. Bad politics equals bad economy, bad economy is poverty.
WHAT ARE YOUR VIEWS ON CREATIVITY &
ENTREPRENEURSHIP?
Creativity enables entrepreneurs to find some of the path-breaking discoveries. Ideas on demand is an important trait in product development, sales, and customer service. If I can commercialize my talent that would generate income for me, and raise my standard of living. If lots of content creators do the same, the economy would be boosted.
WHAT WAS YOUR MOST LEARNING AND OR TEACHABLE MOMENT?
When I was in a very dark phase of life under depression. I learnt that’s it’s priceless to talk to someone. Being a poet also made it manageable because I wrote down what was bothering me.
WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE, TO THE YOUTHS TODAY?
Be diverse in your thoughts, let your mind wander. Life is full of adventure, Read and learn, know what you are good at and add your touch of creativity. No creator is the same as the other.
Look for a mentor. Learn how to listen too and accept corrections.

I surround myself With Positive People who I find easy to start Conversations With and share my views on life, world and humanity at large. I also explore my Interests and consider Injustices That Bother me.

I have had many projects currently doing an anthology called My African Spirit with other African poets about black history and being proud of being black.
